Client guide

Get help without mistaking a tool for legal advice.

Use your account to organize a question and connect with a professional. Your available features depend on your role and the current service configuration.

1. Register and sign in

At app.legicus.com, choose Register and the User role to create your own account, or sign in to an account you already have. Use a unique password; do not share your password, session, or one-time code. If a professional-only tool says you do not have access, ask your attorney rather than trying another account.

2. Prepare a legal question or consultation

  1. Write down the event, important dates and the jurisdiction involved.
  2. Use the attorney directory or consultation features when available to your account. Listing or booking availability is not an endorsement or guarantee of representation.
  3. Check the attorney's profile and the consultation status. A submitted request is not necessarily an accepted engagement.

3. Share documents carefully

Only provide files needed for the matter, after checking the recipient and applicable privacy terms. If an upload fails or a document remains unavailable, do not assume it was safely processed. Ask the responsible professional before relying on an extraction or summary. Never upload another person's confidential material without authority.

4. Read AI-assisted results critically

Drafts, summaries, translated text, risk flags and legal-query answers can be incomplete or wrong. Check names, dates, citations and the actual document. Do not sign, submit, send or act on an output solely because it appears in Legicus. Seek independent professional advice when needed.

When a Matter is shared with you: You may see only the records explicitly available to your account. A Matter is a workspace, not proof of an attorney–client relationship or a guarantee that every related record is visible.

If something is missing

A disabled feature, rejected upload, empty provider response and authorization denial mean different things. See research coverage for country/provider gaps and safety and help for what to report without sending confidential content to a public channel.
